Providing Compassionate, Quality Healthcare Since 1958
For more than six decades, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Hyderabad, Sindh, has been committed to providing compassionate healthcare to some of the most underserved communities in Pakistan. A vital part of this mission is the St Elizabeth School of Midwifery, which helps young women to become skilled midwives and frontline healthcare providers.
As a charitable hospital, our mission is simple but powerful: to provide quality healthcare to those most in need, regardless of their background, religion, or ability to pay. Every day, our doctors, nurses, midwives, and volunteers care for patients from some of the poorest communities in the region.
St Elizabeth Hospital has grown with Latifabad in Hyderabad. Latifabad was set up as a new urban development to provide housing for the many people who arrived in Sindh after 1947. St Elizabeth was founded in 1958 by the Catholic Church in collaboration with the government of Pakistan to provide urgently needed healthcare to these people.
The administrator and management respond with high professional competency and confidence in overseeing all diagnostic and surgical care including the hospital’s specialization in Mother & Child health care, its Mobile Medical Outreach Programme and the Home-Based Palliative Care
